  • 2014-2016: Postdoctoral Fellowship (Population Genomics and Phylogenetics), Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), Canberra, Australia; Project: Population genomics and comparative phylogenetics of the Australian pest moth, Helicoverpa armigera

  • 2010-2014: Postdoctoral Fellowship (Population Genomics), Max Planck Institute for Developmental Biology, Tübingen, Germany; Project: Population genomics and trait evolution in the nematode, Pristionchus pacificus

  • 2006-2009: PhD (Molecular Biosciences), Massey University/Allan Wilson Centre for Molecular Ecology and Evolution, Palmerston North, New Zealand; Thesis title: Polar evolution: molecular genetic and physiological parameters of Antarctic arthropod populations
